Juicy Polish-style apple pie

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1.2 kg apples, a sour variety such as Granny Smith
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla flavor, bottle
  • 125 g flour
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
  • Oil, for the mold
  • Flour , for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Oil and flour a 24 cm springform pan. Wash, peel, core, and chop the apples, then arrange them in the pan. Whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla essence together until creamy. Sift the flour over the pan and fold in. Pour the batter over the apples and spread it out. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (300°F) for 50-60 minutes. Cover the cake with aluminum foil after 45 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
