Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ red bell peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 chili peppers, fresh
  • 5 tbsp vinegar (wine or rice vinegar)
  • 10 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the bell pepper. Peel the garlic and wash the chilies. Puree everything in a blender. Transfer to a pot. Add 1/4 liter of water, vinegar, and sugar, and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens. Let cool and serve over rice in Thai dishes.
