Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 80 g corn flour
  • 60 g flour
  • some salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 25 g sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 small egg(s)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 6 sausages
  • oil
  • some flour, for turning the sausages

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

A hit for children’s birthdays or as a snack! Sausages coated in corn dough on skewers

Mix all ingredients with a hand mixer until smooth. Skewer the sausages (pat dry) and coat in a little flour. Heat oil in a deep pan. Dip the sausages in the batter and fry for about 3 minutes until golden brown. Serve with ketchup. You can, of course, also use small cocktail sausages for a buffet.
