Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 280 g flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 60 g butter, melted
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 280 g yogurt
  • 60 ml milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 140 g jam (e.g. strawberry, raspberry, apricot)
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place the butter and egg in a bowl and mix well. Add the yogurt and milk and mix thoroughly. In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and gradually mix into the ingredients from the first bowl until a smooth batter forms. Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper baking cups. Divide half of the batter between the muffin tins, filling them halfway. Place 1 teaspoon of jam in the center of each batter and then spread the remaining batter on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15-20 minutes. Sift powdered sugar over the still-warm muffins. Let cool on a wire rack.
