Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 medium-sized red bell peppers (you can also use other or more)
  • 2 m.-large tomato(s), ripe
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • ½ bag of fusilli (penne or Asian instant noodles also go very well with it)
  • 2 chicken breasts or turkey breasts
  • salt and pepper
  • Soy sauce
  • Oil, e.g. olive, rapeseed or sunflower oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Simple, quick and very tasty

Cook the desired amount of pasta al dente in a large pot with water and salt. Cut the peppers, onions, and tomatoes into small pieces and add them to a hot pan. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Cut the chicken breast into pieces (small cubes or strips, whichever you prefer) and then cook them with the vegetables. When the noodles are cooked, rinse them briefly and set them aside. After about 5 minutes over medium heat, when the meat is almost tender, add the cooked noodles. Then add soy sauce, if desired. I always use between 1/2 and 3/4 of a bottle. Season to taste with salt and pepper and let it simmer for another 10 minutes. You can also use mushrooms and other vegetables, such as zucchini, snow peas, etc.
