Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g rice
  • 1 bulb(s) of ginger
  • 5 carrots
  • 3 stalk(s) leeks
  • 2 spring onions
  • 600 g chicken breast
  • 300 g mushrooms
  • 200 g sprouts (beans)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 lettuce hearts
  • 2 bell peppers
  • some soy sauce
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

in the wok

Marinate the meat in cornstarch or cornstarch for about 1 hour. Heat the oil, add the ginger slices to the hot oil, then remove it from the wok and fry the meat until 70% cooked. Remove the ginger. Add a little soy sauce. Now gradually add the vegetables—carrot, mushrooms, bell pepper, leek, onion, lettuce, and sprouts—to the wok. Then add the meat with more soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, prepare the rice.
