Boil the canned sauerkraut in a pot of water until soft (there should still be a little liquid in the pot). Meanwhile, dice the fatty bacon and fry it in a pan. Peel and dice the onion, and add it to the bacon. Stir until the onions are translucent. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and a few teaspoons of sugar to taste to the sauerkraut. Add flour to the fat in the pan and let it brown. Then add the mixture to the sauerkraut. It should be nice and creamy. Finally, season to taste and serve.
