Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g baking mix, for farmer’s bread or sports bread
  • 150 g bacon
  • 5 shallots
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 125 g crème fraîche
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 5 eggs
  • e.g. milk
  • e.g. breadcrumbs
  • n. B. Caraway
  • n. B. Salt
  • n. B. Pfeffer
  • e.g. parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Prepare the bread dough according to the instructions. Finely chop the bacon and shallots and slice the leek into rings. Mix together the crème fraîche, sour cream, and eggs. Fold in the bacon, shallots, and leek. Combine the milk and breadcrumbs and add to the mixture. Stir in the parsley and season with caraway seeds, salt, and pepper. Line a 32 cm quiche dish with the bread dough and spread the vegetable and bacon mixture on top. Place the dish in the oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) for 40 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before eating. Serve with leaf salad.
