Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g flour, 1 egg
  • Salt
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1 kg kale
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp lard
  • 300 g sausage, smoked Mettwurst
  • 2 tbsp condensed milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a dough from flour, egg, salt, and 5 tablespoons of oil. Let it rest for half an hour. Chop and blanch the washed kale leaves. Sauté the chopped onions and cabbage. Dice the Mettwurst sausage. Roll out the dough thinly. Arrange the cabbage and sausage on top. Fold over the edges of the dough and roll it out into a strudel. Brush with canned milk. Bake for 30 minutes at 200°C.
