Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 chicken breast fillets, 250 g each
  • 3 tbsp oil (sesame oil)
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • Salt
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 small chili pepper(s), red
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 3 slices of pineapple (also from a can)
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce, light
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • ¼ liter chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp brown sugar

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a pan or wok and brown the meat in batches until well browned. Remove and set aside. Finely slice the chili pepper. Peel the onion and trim the bell peppers. Dice them along with the pineapple slices and stir everything well in the remaining fat. Mix the tomato paste with the soy sauce, vinegar, chicken stock, and cornstarch and add to the vegetables along with the meat. Finally, season with salt, pepper, and brown sugar. A recipe with easy-to-find ingredients and easy preparation.
