Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g rock candy
- ¾ liter of water
- 250 g margarine
- 2 m.-sized eggs
- 2 packs of pudding powder, vanilla
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 500 g flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 13 hours
Croissants – not only delicious for New Year!
Bring the water and rock candy to a boil. The rock candy should dissolve completely. Then let the water cool down. Make a batter from the remaining ingredients, add the sugar solution, and mix thoroughly. Let the batter rest overnight. The next day, bake the batter in batches using a special waffle iron for New Year’s cakes and roll them into croissants.
