Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 2 kg potato(s), floury
- 1 cup milk, hot
- ½ cup cream
- 1 bunch basil, finely pureed
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel the potatoes as usual, slice them, and boil them in salted water until tender. Combine them with the milk, cream, and spices and mash them finely (do not use a mixer, or they will become rubbery!). Then fold in the finely pureed basil. Delicious with grilled or baked fish fillets.
