Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g grains
  • 170 ml water
  • 30 g butter or margarine, melted
  • ½ tsp salt and pepper, black
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 apple, finely sliced
  • Oil, for frying
  • 3 small onions
  • 5 carrots
  • 1 small ginger bulb
  • 40 g fat
  • 150 ml broth
  • 3 tsp honey

Instructions

Grind the grains to medium-fine flour and mix with water and butter. Add the spices, onions, and apple, let them swell for 15 minutes, then fry in a little oil until browned. Dice the onions and sauté in the fat. Peel and slice the carrots and add them to the onions. Add the sliced ​​ginger. Add the broth and simmer for 7 minutes. Season with honey.
