Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g grains
- 170 ml water
- 30 g butter or margarine, melted
- ½ tsp salt and pepper, black
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 apple, finely sliced
- Oil, for frying
- 3 small onions
- 5 carrots
- 1 small ginger bulb
- 40 g fat
- 150 ml broth
- 3 tsp honey
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Grind the grains to medium-fine flour and mix with water and butter. Add the spices, onions, and apple, let them swell for 15 minutes, then fry in a little oil until browned. Dice the onions and sauté in the fat. Peel and slice the carrots and add them to the onions. Add the sliced ginger. Add the broth and simmer for 7 minutes. Season with honey.
