Brussels sprout casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • 400 g potatoes
  • 200 g ham, cooked
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the Brussels sprouts, cut a cross into the large florets at the base of the stem. Boil them in salted water for about 10 minutes, or until slightly tender. Dice the ham, slice the cooked potatoes, and sauté the finely diced onion in butter, then add the ham. Grate the cheese. Grease a shallow baking dish, add the Brussels sprouts, then alternate layers of grated cheese and potato slices on top, then cover with the onion and ham mixture. Bake at 200°C for about 20-30 minutes, until the potatoes are lightly browned.
