Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g lentils
- 100 g onion(s)
- 100 g leek(s)
- 100 g carrot(s)
- 100 g bell pepper(s)
- 4 tbsp wheat flour or wholemeal flour
- 1 tsp curry powder
- salt and pepper
- Parsley
- chives
- chili powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 13 hours
Soak the lentils in water overnight. Drain and rinse the lentils the next day before cooking. Roughly chop the onions, leeks, carrots, bell peppers, and herbs. Puree everything with the lentils, salt, pepper, curry powder, and chili powder. Mix in the flour. The mixture should now be sticky. Form patties from the mixture and fry them in a pan. Serve with a salad of your choice, or with vegetables or vegetable sauce.
