Puff pastry leek pocket à la Didi

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of puff pastry
  • 50 g leek
  • 20 g Gouda, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the puff pastry sheets on top and thaw. Meanwhile, slice the leek into rings, wash, and boil in salted water for about 5 minutes. Spread the cooked and cooled leek diagonally on the puff pastry sheets, leaving a border of about 2 cm. Sprinkle the Gouda cheese over the leek. Moisten the edges of the pastry and fold the puff pastry diagonally into triangles. Press the edges together with a fork. Bake the puff pastry parcels in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes.
