Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ baguette(s)
  • 2 tomatoes, firm
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 garlic clove(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cut the baguette into slices (about 12 slices) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Peel and deseed the tomatoes, chop them, and mash them in a bowl. Do not overcook them, as some tomato pieces should remain. Mix with salt, pepper, garlic, and olive oil. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baguette slices and bake for about 10 minutes at 200°C (top/bottom heat).
