Spicy oatmeal pan

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup oatmeal, fine
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 2 small carrots
  • ½ small apple
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 125 ml water
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp curry
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Vegetarian

Chop the peppers, carrots, and apple and set aside. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the finely chopped onion until translucent. Add the oats to the onions and stir in all the spices. Briefly toast the oats and deglaze with the water, then stir in the remaining ingredients, except the egg. Fry everything until it reaches the desired consistency, adding a little more water if necessary. Now stir in the egg and stir until it has set. Serve with a mixed green salad.
