Puff pastry rolls with feta and olive filling

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • some olives
  • 1 tbsp, heaped crème fraîche with herbs
  • pepper
  • n. B. herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

simple and vegetarian, for 20 pieces

Roll out the puff pastry and spread a large tablespoon of crème fraîche with herbs on top, leaving about 2 cm free on one short side. Cut the feta and olives into small cubes and spread them on the dough. Season the topping with pepper and herbs. I would omit the salt, as the brine from feta and olives is usually already well salted, but that’s a matter of taste. Roll out the puff pastry, starting from the narrow, coated side. Cut the roll into slices about 1-2 cm wide and arrange them on a baking sheet. I always use baking paper. Bake the puff pastry rolls in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 12-15 minutes, but keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.
