  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 thin baguette(s) – stick
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • possibly chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

as a small snack to nibble on or when barbecuing

Melt the butter in a small saucepan and add the crushed garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cut the bread into very thin slices and brush with the melted butter. Toast on a baking sheet lined with baking paper in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown. The chips can be eaten hot or lukewarm, and I occasionally sprinkle them with a little chives while they’re still hot.
