Fruity tortellini skewers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of tortellini (with cheese filling)
  • 1 mango(s), ripe
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • some chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

A hit at parties

Place the tortellini in boiling water, remove after about 3-4 minutes, and let cool. Peel the mango and cut into tortellini-sized pieces. Wash the basil, shake it dry, and pick off the leaves. Now alternate between skewering the tortellini, mango, and basil onto toothpicks. Place the finished skewers on a platter. Mix together the oil, salt, pepper, and chili, and brush the skewers with the marinade. Refrigerate everything (overnight is fine). Brush the marinade onto the skewers every now and then to ensure they absorb the seasoning. Perfect as a summer main course with a salad for two people, or as a starter for about six people.
