Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg potato(s), small, waxy
  • 25 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Danish recipe

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender and peel while still hot. Let cool. Melt the sugar in a pan over low heat, add the butter, stir, then add the potatoes and caramelize until evenly browned on all sides. If desired, you can also add a sprig of rosemary.
