Ice cream bread – very unusual

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g ice cream, of your choice, it just has to be creamy
  • 190 g flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Ice Cream Bread

Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius (bottom heat if possible, otherwise top/bottom heat). In a bowl, combine ice cream, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Then pour into a lightly greased 25cm bread pan, place the pan in the oven, and bake for 30 to 45 minutes. Test with a toothpick if the cake is cooked through. Remove the pan from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then cool completely on a wire rack. The bread will yield 12 slices.
