Sausage salad with peppers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g meat sausage (ham sausage)
  • 200 g sausage (beer ham)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red or yellow
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (herb vinegar or white balsamic vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp oil, neutral in taste
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Clean the bell pepper and spring onions. Finely dice the bell pepper and finely slice the spring onions. Cut the sausage into thin strips. Mix everything with vinegar and oil to taste. Season with pepper and paprika (salt is usually not necessary, as the sausage is salty enough). Let the salad sit in the refrigerator for about an hour. It tastes best when taken out of the refrigerator half an hour before serving. I serve this salad with fresh farmhouse bread as a small dinner.
