Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g meat sausage or Braunschweiger
  • 3 m.-large tomato(s)
  • 1 large bell pepper(s), red
  • ½ cucumber(s)
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp herbs (fresh or frozen) Italian
  • salt and pepper
  • Vinegar (herb vinegar)
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

a quick, light and refreshing dinner

Skin the sausage, halve it lengthwise, and cut into thin slices. Halve the tomatoes and slice them. Peel the cucumber, halve it, and slice it thinly. Halve the bell pepper, neatly remove the white part, cut it into eighths, and also cut it into thin strips. Halve the onion and finely chop it. Place everything in a bowl. Make a marinade with the Italian herbs, salt, pepper, herb vinegar, and oil and mix well with the sausage, bell pepper, tomatoes, and onion. Serve with dark bread.
