Breakfast: Turmeric Porridge with Fried Apples
The perfect breakfast: turmeric porridge with fried apples recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
for the baked apple:
- 160 ml Oat milk
- 0,5 tsp Turmeric
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1 Msp Cinnamon
- 1 Msp Ground ginger
- 2 tbsp Orange juice
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1 Pc. Apple
- 1 tsp Coconut oil or ghee
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Sliced almonds
- Bring all the ingredients for the porridge to the boil in a small saucepan and simmer to a creamy porridge for a few minutes over medium heat. Finally stir in the honey.
- Toast the flaked almonds in a pan without fat. Peel the apple, cut into small pieces and fry in the heated fat in a pan for a few minutes until soft. Stir in lemon juice. Put the porridge in a bowl and sprinkle with the fried apple and flaked almonds.
