Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 stalk(s) leeks
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 handful of black olives, without stones
- some salt

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Trim the leek roots, separate the white from the green, and thoroughly rinse any soil from the green parts. Cut everything into approximately 3 cm wide rings, place in a pot, and add water, oil, and salt. Cook for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, halve the olives and stir them into the leek just before cooking. This goes well with any type of potato dish.
