Orange-coconut jelly

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 900 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 250 g xylitol (sugar substitute)
  • 2 tsp, leveled agar-agar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

without sugar, with xylitol, vegan, for approx. 8 200ml glasses,

If you don’t have xylitol or don’t want it, you can of course use another sweetener. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour the mixture into clean jars and seal them immediately. Occasionally, two layers may form or settle; in this case, simply shake the jar briefly every now and then and let it stand again. Once the jelly has cooled sufficiently, it will no longer settle. This amount of jelly makes 7-8 x 200ml jars.
