Fried green asparagus with hemp flour

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g asparagus, green
  • 1 dash of oil or some butter
  • some herbal salt
  • 1 tsp, heaped hemp flour, or a little more

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the asparagus and trim off the tough parts at the bottom. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Heat the oil in a pan and add the asparagus. Don’t add the tips right away, as they will cook/soften too quickly. Add after about 1-2 minutes. Now fry the asparagus while stirring. After a few minutes, test whether it is firm enough for you (depending on the diameter of the stalks). Season with herb salt, sprinkle with hemp flour, mix again, and then simply enjoy. For me, this was, as so often, simply a main course. As a starter or side dish, it is enough for 2 people. Note: If butter is used, the dish is no longer vegan.
