Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g beans, green, washed, trimmed, halved
  • some salt
  • ½ dl red wine vinegar
  • ½ dl balsamic vinegar, dark
  • 1 medium-sized red onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 basil leaves, very finely chopped
  • some black pepper, freshly ground
  • ½ dl pumpkin seed oil
  • 2 tsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the beans in salted water until al dente, then rinse gently with cold water and drain. Meanwhile, stir together the vinegar and a little salt until the salt dissolves. Add the onions, garlic, basil, and pepper; let everything simmer for a while. Add the pumpkin seed oil and sugar to the sauce. Mix the sauce with the beans well and serve.
