Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g plum(s)
  • 1 apple
  • 200 g tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • some coconut oil
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, approx. 1 cm
  • 3 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • e.g. chili pepper(s)
  • 2 juniper berries
  • 2 allspice berries
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Rosemary, finely chopped
  • n. B. Lavender flowers, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Core the plums and apple. Peel the tomatoes and onion, then finely chop both. Peel the garlic and ginger. Sauté the onion in coconut oil until translucent, then add the garlic and ginger. Caramelize the sugar. Add the plums, tomatoes, apple, vinegar, chili, juniper berries, and allspice berries and simmer until a nice consistency is reached. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with finely chopped rosemary and lavender to serve. The chutney can be eaten hot or cold. It goes best with goat cheese and bread.
