Breakfast pizza with bacon and Nuremberg sausages

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 portion of pizza dough, from the refrigerated section or homemade
  • 1 small can of tomato sauce
  • oregano
  • basil
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 6 small Nuremberg bratwursts
  • ½ red bell pepper(s), cut into strips
  • ½ red onion(s), cut into fine strips
  • 70 g mozzarella, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Preheat the oven to 250°C. Roll out the pizza dough. Season the tomato sauce with oregano and basil and spread a thin layer of the sauce over the dough. Arrange the pepper strips and onions on the pizza. Briefly fry the Nuremberg sausages and bacon in a pan and add them to the pizza. Finally, sprinkle with mozzarella. Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 7-12 minutes, depending on the dough. One breakfast pizza is enough for three people, and I serve it with scrambled eggs.
