Breadcrumbs with Honey Pineapple

The perfect breadcrumbs with honey pineapple recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Bread pancakes:

  • 200 g / 14 slices 1.5 – 2 cm thick ½ Baguette von gestern

Bread pancakes:

  1. Cut the baguette into slices (approx. 5-2 cm thick). Melt butter (100 g) in a non-stick pan, add the baguette slices and fry until golden brown on both sides. Press down several times with the spatula. Whisk the milk (250 ml) with the eggs (2 pieces) and sugar (2 tablespoons) and spread over the baguette slices. Let the liquid boil down, cut the baguette slices in half and turn everything repeatedly with the spatula until everything is golden-yellow, crispy brown.

Honey pineapple:

  1. 2 Cut the slices from a pineapple, clean them, fry them vigorously on both sides in a grill pan with sunflower oil (2 tbsp) and drizzle with liquid honey. Make a sauce of crème fraîche (100 g), liquid honey (1 tbsp), lemon juice (1 tbsp) and ginger juice (1 piece, pressed the size of a walnut) / mix together. Cut the almonds into slivers.

Serve:

  1. Divide the honey and pineapple slices on 2 plates, drizzle with the sauce and sprinkle with sliced ​​almonds. Add the breadcrumbs and dust with icing sugar. Serve breadcrumbs with honey pineapple garnished with parsley.
