Homemade red cabbage

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg red cabbage
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 180 ml vinegar (fruit)
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

simply delicious and without alcohol

Shred the red cabbage (this works best with a bread slicer) and mix well with the remaining ingredients. Let it sit overnight. Cook in a pressure cooker for about 10 minutes or in a regular pot for about 1 hour.
