Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 large potatoes, floury, boiled
  • 40 g butter or margarine
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Salt
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Grandma’s recipe

Mix butter with egg yolk and egg. Finely grate the potatoes and stir in, then season with salt. Then form small dumplings, roll them in breadcrumbs, and fry them in oil. These “Krapferl” can be served as a soup garnish or with boiled beef and vegetables.
