Toasted semolina soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 tbsp, heaped butter
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 100 g durum wheat semolina
  • 1 liter chicken broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat the broth. Meanwhile, chop the onion, heat the butter, and lightly brown the onion over medium heat. Then add the semolina and brown it while stirring. Add a little more butter, if desired. Add the mixture to the chicken broth and bring to a boil briefly.
