Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 400 g yellow split peas
- 1 large onion(s)
- 100 g diced ham
- 2 liters of vegetable broth
- 4 m.-sized potatoes
- 4 small carrots
- 1 piece(s) celeriac
- 1 m.-large leek(s)
- 4 Mettenden (smoking doughnuts)
- 4 Vienna sausages
- marjoram
- Parsley
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes
Sauté the finely chopped onion and ham in oil, add the stock and peas, and simmer for 60 minutes. Add the finely chopped vegetables and smoked sausages and simmer for another 30 minutes. Add the herbs and the finely chopped Vienna sausages. Season with salt and pepper.
