Quark gnocchi

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g quark
  • 120 g butter, liquid
  • 2 eggs
  • 450 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Served as a side dish or with pesto, a nice starter

Knead all ingredients by hand in a bowl until a dough forms. To shape, divide the curd dough into two to four portions and roll them into roughly two-centimeter-thick logs on a floured surface. Cut three- to four-centimeter-long pieces and press them over a floured fork to create the typical pattern. Let them cook in boiling salted water. When the gnocchi float to the top, they’re done. Rinse the finished gnocchi in cold water and then drain in a colander. Larger quantities can also be frozen. It’s worth it!
