Gratinated mushrooms

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 mushrooms (giant mushrooms)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 half lemon(s)
  • 1 handful of cheddar cheese or feta cheese
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch(s) salt and pepper, coarse

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to grill setting. Remove and peel the stems from the mushrooms. For the marinade, press the garlic and finely chop the chili and parsley. Mix with the lemon juice and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Add the olive oil. Rub the mushrooms with the marinade, fill them, and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Place the mushrooms in a baking dish and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Serve with baguette. The photo shows the version with feta and eggplant slices underneath the mushrooms.
