Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 rolls, from the previous day
  • 250 g bacon (farmer’s bacon)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 cl water
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the bread rolls and bacon into small cubes. Finely chop the parsley and onion. Sauté the bacon in a pan until translucent, then fry the onions in the fat until golden brown. Add the bread rolls and brown them, then add the parsley. Mix the flour, water, and salt into a thin dumpling dough. Stir in the bread and bacon mixture and let rest for about 1/2 hour. Form dumplings and boil in salted water for 10 minutes.
