Asparagus and shrimp pan with a hint of vanilla and chili

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g shrimp(s), frozen
  • 6 stalk(s) asparagus, fresh and as thick as possible
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • chili powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 shot of white wine, not too dry
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the asparagus and cut into slices approximately 3 mm thick. Clean the shrimp and sear them in olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, sugar, and chili (or a fresh chili pepper if you like it spicy). Add vanilla to taste, then add the asparagus and sear briefly. Deglaze with wine and serve. Serve with baguette.
