Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 8 stalk(s) asparagus, fresh
- 8 slices of bacon
- 100g mozzarella
- 50 ml water
- ½ tsp vegetable stock powder
- Salt
- Garlic pepper
- e.g. butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Peel the asparagus and trim off any woody ends. Grease the baking dish with butter. Wrap a slice of bacon around each asparagus spear and place it in the baking dish. Mix the water, vegetable stock, salt, and garlic pepper and pour over the asparagus. Close the OptiGrill and manually set it to 230°C. Once the temperature is reached, set the cooking time to 20 minutes. Sprinkle the grated or sliced mozzarella over the asparagus and bake for another 5-10 minutes. Boiled potatoes go well with the dish. This dish can also be cooked in a casserole dish in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25 minutes.
