Greek-style potato casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 kg potatoes, small
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 1 tbsp herbs de Provence
  • nutmeg
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • n. B. Basil for garnishing
  • n. B. Thyme for garnishing
  • 75 g cheese (Gouda), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash and halve the potatoes. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Bring the cream, garlic, and Provençal herbs to a boil in a small saucepan. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Place the potatoes in a casserole dish and pour the cream over them. Sprinkle with the cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 30-35 minutes. Serve the finished casserole garnished with thyme and basil leaves.
