Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 m.-sized eggs
  • 8 tbsp sugar
  • 8 tbsp flour
  • 8 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 8 tsp vanilla paste
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 80 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Separate the eggs. Briefly beat the egg whites with the salt, then beat with the sugar until stiff peaks form. Whisk the egg yolks with the milk. Add the flour, baking powder, and vanilla paste and mix everything into a smooth batter. Carefully fold in the egg yolks. Heat a pan with butter and add 2 ladles of batter. Cook until one side is well browned. Turn the pancake and continue cooking until the other side is also browned. Tear the pancake into small pieces using two spatulas. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar and let it caramelize in the pan. Arrange on a warmed plate, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar, and serve. Repeat this process until all the batter is used up.
