Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 200 g flour
  • 375 ml cream or milk
  • 100 g sugar
  • Fat for the pan

Instructions

Beat egg whites with half the sugar until stiff. Combine the egg yolks with the cream or milk and the remaining sugar. Mix in the flour and fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Using a tablespoon, drop the batter in portions into a hot, greased pan and cook until golden brown on both sides. Serve immediately. Tastes delicious with cinnamon and sugar, applesauce, compote, or preserved fruit.
