Spinach stuffed with halloumi

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g cheese, halloumi (grilled cheese)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp spice mix (Baharat)
  • 4 leaves spinach, large

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Cut the halloumi into thin strips. Mix the olive oil with the baharat and marinate the halloumi for at least 1 hour. Meanwhile, blanch the spinach leaves for a minute and dry them on kitchen paper. Brown the cheese on all sides in the marinating oil, wrap it in the spinach leaves, and serve.
