Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g beef
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 pointed peppers, red
  • 300 ml barbecue sauce
  • 500 ml tomatoes, pureed
  • Paprika powder
  • chili powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Olive oil for frying

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Clean the garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Mince the garlic, then slice the onion and bell pepper. Wash the beef, pat it dry, and cut it into thin strips. Add olive oil to a pan and fry the meat, onion, bell pepper, and garlic, stirring constantly. Add the barbecue sauce and tomatoes, reduce the heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally. Taste the spices before adding them, as the barbecue sauce is already quite spicy. Add salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder to taste. Serve with potato wedges and a dollop of sour cream or herb curd. Also delicious with rice, but make the sauce a little thinner.
