Ingredients for 4 servings:
- ½ liter of milk
- 80 g block chocolate
- 28 g cornstarch, e.g. Mondamin
- 200 g cream
- 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Set aside a small amount of milk and stir in the Mondamin. Bring the rest of the milk to a boil. Remove the boiled milk from the heat, add the chocolate block, and stir until dissolved. Now slowly stir the milk and Mondamin mixture into the hot chocolate milk. Bring everything back to a boil, stirring well. The mixture will thicken. Remove the pan from the heat and cover the cream directly with cling film to prevent a skin from forming. Let it cool in the refrigerator. Whip the cream until stiff and fold into the cold pudding mixture. Finally, add a little sugar (careful not to add too much). Tip: Old chocolate bunnies or Santas can also be used instead of chocolate blocks.
