Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can of tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 5 stalks celery
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lime(s)
  • 1 avocado(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

my recipe for a chili con carne bowl – with avocado, of course

Finely dice the onion and garlic cloves and fry them in a large pot with the sunflower oil and the minced meat. Once the meat is cooked through, add the pureed and chopped tomatoes and kidney beans. Now chop the celery and add it to the pot. Finally, add the juice of the squeezed lime. Simmer everything for at least another 15 minutes. Garnish the chili in a bowl with avocado, and serve with nachos if you like.
