Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

First, the meat needs to be marinated. To do this, cut the fillet into cubes, whisk the soy sauce with the egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of flour, stir in the meat cubes and let stand for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, slice the onion and spring onions into rings, finely chop the bell peppers and peel the garlic. Now mix the remaining 6 tablespoons of flour and the baking powder with the meat cubes. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the meat cubes. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Now fry the onions and bell peppers in the pan and press in the garlic. Mix together the sauce made from vinegar, sugar, ketchup, 3 tablespoons of water and salt and add to the vegetables. Mix the cornstarch with 5 teaspoons of water and add to the vegetables. Bring to a boil once until the sauce thickens. Finally, add the meat back in and serve with rice or noodles, for example.
